Awards & Reviews
The guardsman was as riveting as it was promising. Albeit it could not contend to the earlier crowd favorites in the Gor series’ first collection of books, the action-packed adventure of Jason is still an enjoyable read. On the other hand, some readers stressed that the book’s author, John Norman could tone down the excessive themes of slavery to add more depth and variety into the story.
