What is Graphic Sexual Horror?
Graphic Sexual Horror is an independent documentary film released in 2009 written and directed by Anna Lorentzon and Barbara Bell. It was first released at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2009. Special Edition DVD of the film is made available in 2010 by Synapse Films.
Graphic Sexual Horror follows the dark and exclusive world of BDSM websites. The documentary features real scenes and plays. Interviews with different BDSM practitioners and performers reveal various aspects of why there are people who seem to be deeply fascinated by bondage and sadomasochism.
The characters showed in the documentary plays as himself or herself.

Graphic Sexual Horror received the Best Documentary Award at the 2009 CineKink Film Festival. It also takes part as an Official Selection in various award-giving bodies such as the Calgary Underground Film Festival, HotDocs Film Festival, Buenos Aires Film Festival, Fantasia International Film Festival, and Athens International Film Festival.
