He has hit the frame ten times from his 11 races at the Merseyside track with three wins in that sequence.

That means trends fans must be lining up to back him, especially with prices around 6-1 on offer meaning you can go in each-way.

Half of recent Grand National Trial winners crossed the line first on their previous outing as he did.

He has won over at least three miles in a chase at some point in his career. He has raced within the past month or so and he is 10 or younger, which is the key age stat.

He has three chase wins on his CV which also fits the bill of what we are looking for.

Looking for his main rivals, Lord Du Mesnil comes close but is a little young at seven to be winning this.

Geronimo could be the biggest threat. He has the right sort of official rating, finished in the first three last time and has proven his stamina.
