A WASHING up liquid that costs 85p and is loved by cleaning guru Mrs Hinch has been praised by parents for removing stains from clothes.
One happy mum shared how she used the bottle of Elbow Grease to get rid of black pen marks from her son’s red school uniform.
She described the washing up liquid as “amazing” and said the stains on the uniform “lifted straight off” with minimal scrubbing.
Mum-of-two Jesse Hope said: “I'm sick of my son’s red school jumpers being ruined with black marker pen but this stuff is amazing!
“Squirted a bit on the pen, left for 5 minutes, gave it a little scrub and its lifted straight off.”
She shared her find on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group and has so far been met with almost 400 comments from fellow impressed parents.
One said: “Works wonders, love it and the spray.”
Another said: “I have had this it's amazing, better than Fairy Liquid and you only need a bit. So soapy and gets your pots so clean.”
There's only a 4p difference in price, with a 740ml bottle costing 89p in B&M and 85p in Poundstretcher.
We found other UK supermarkets, including Tesco, selling the same product for £1.
Both discounters are also selling Elbow Grease in a 500ml all purpose degreaser spray for the same price.
Cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, shared the product on her Instagram stories to over two million followers back in April.
She captioned a picture of the new washing up liquid with: "Well... omg Hinchers. What a spesh delivery."
