SHOPPERS looking to bag Black Friday deals on GHD hair products had to wait hours to get onto the website today as it was rather bizarrely down for maintenance.
It's unclear exactly how long the site was offline for but shoppers reported problems on social media between 8am and 5pm.
But the GHDhair.com site seems to have been down for most of the day, and you couldn't get any further than a landing page saying the site was offline.
The statement said: "The site is currently down for maintenance, but it shouldn't take too long so please check back soon.
"Sorry for any inconvenience, and thanks for your patience."
One unhappy shopper tweeted at 8.48am: "@ghd ffs I hope my order went through. Your site now says down for maintenance. But money has been taken from my Monzo account!!!"
Another said: "@ghd hi is your server down? I’ve tried to order three times and really don’t want three straighteners... @ghdProfessional"
While someone else said: "@ghd is there any idea on when your website will be live again? Showing up as down for maintenance."

Someone else said: "Tried to order for the THIRD TIME and the @ghd website is now down."
Another shopper wrote: "Is the website down? I can’t get on and trying to order."
GHD's official account had responded to some frustrated customers saying: "We’re doing everything we can to get the website back up and running.
"In the meantime you can contact email@example.com if you have any issues that need resolving!"
The Sun has contacted GHD.
