WHO IS BABY YODA?
Like any series, Star Wars: The Mandalorian viewers have questions they need answering, for example: When exactly does The Mandalorian take place?
However, the biggest question of them all is who is this bite-sized, green-coloured creature, known by fans as Baby Yoda?
Some have speculated Baby Yoda is the lovechild of Yoda and Yaddle, which seems like the most plausible explanation.
Baby Yoda is said to be 50-years-old and ‘Big’ Yoda was approximately 900 years old at the time of his death in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
What’s more The Mandalorian takes place five years after the events of Return of the Jedi.
To be more specific, The Mandalorian is set between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.
The timeline seemingly matches up for Baby Yoda to be the illicit child of Yoda and Yaddle, who was a member of the Jedi Council circa The Phantom Menace.
