PRINCE Harry will become an “LA stoner” when he moves to the US with Meghan Markle, claims Piers Morgan.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain today, the outspoken TV host made the comment following the news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are to split their time between the UK and North America.
Piers, along with fellow hosts Susanna Reid and Charlotte Hawkins, were commenting on Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge scooping three awards at the Critics’ Choice Awards last night.
As the clip of Phoebe's acceptance speech was aired on the show, Piers was entertained by a tired-looking man in the audience, and said to his production team: “Go back to that little bit at the end.
“The bloke on the right looks spaced out. It looks like he has been on the old waccy baccy.”
Mimicking the bloke, Piers joked: “Woah, who’s that on stage man, hey Kev, what’s happening bro.”
He added: “That’ll be Prince Harry in five years time at his 1000th awards ceremony in Hollywood.”
Pretending to be the Duke of Sussex, 35, Pier laughed: “What is my life man? Why didn’t I just stay at home.”
The host added to his hosts: “He’s going to be a stoner isn’t he?”
He is reportedly torn over the idea of severing ties with the royals completely as he and Meghan work to become "financially independent".
Her Majesty also aims to sort the Sussexes’ roles, and Meghan, 38, could join in via conference call.
The couple could use the TV threat to try to secure a better deal at the Sandringham talks.
Sources reveal the couple may make the move to LA if Trump isn't in power after it emerged they will be "stepping back" from their royal duties in the UK.
They are reportedly considering a move to LA and Toronto, as well as Vancouver Island where they spent the holidays in a luxury waterfront mansion.
