AN HEIRESS who swapped a life of luxury for living on the breadline has revealed how she spends £1,500 on taxis every month.
On last night's episode of Rich Kids Go Skint, Nadia Nuseibeh, 24, from Knightsbridge went to stay with single mum Natalie Russell, 40, who lives in a two-bedroom house with sons, Kaliel, 16 and Ilai, 11.
Nadia, who once forked out £1,000 on one night out and splashes £1,500 on taxis every month because "walking is for peasants" had the shock of her life when she went to stay with Natalie.
"I feel that I'm gonna feel guilty just for being born in a more privileged family with more opportunities," she explained.
"I can spend £1,500 on taxis, walking is for peasants. I can spend £500 at a pub or a bar."
Despite their differences, Nadia - who gets money from her parents "whenever she asks for it" - forged an unlikely bond with Natalie on last night's episode of Rich Kids Go Skint.
The mum-of-two from Bournemouth - who has overcome a drug addiction - spends £50 a week on food for herself and her two sons.
"I ended up homeless at 15," she revealed to Nadia.
"And then I ended up in prison. I overdosed at the age of 18 and when I started to turn things around, I was pregnant with Kaliel and it was so scary for me."
Natalie - who works 16 hours a week and receives Universal Credit - explained how she turned up at her local YMCA with "bin bags of things and her little pregnant belly".
And it seems the experience was a reality check for pampered Nadia - who also has a fear of drinking tap water.
"I felt more emotional in the past couple of days than I have in a really long time," she said.
"In my world you have to pretend that everything is perfect all the time and you're laughing and you go for drinks.
"You're kinda living in this fake perfect La La Land where no one talks about problems or emotional struggles.
"And everything they talk about is the economy or what the next trend is or what restaurant to eat at."
During the show, Nadia was tasked with buying a list of cleaning products for just £10, with Natalie confident her guest would succeed.
"She wants to get things right, I think she'll give it a very good go," she said.
At the end of the show, it was clear the pair had struck up a lasting friendship.
"You're so lovely and kind-hearted and you opened your home to me and it hurts me that someone so amazing as you would go through all of that," said Nadia.
"There are so many people, specifically people that I know, that their problems are nothing.
"They should be so grateful to have a roof over their heads, a meal on the table. Nobody talks to you about it, it's all hidden and it's all pretend perfection."
Before leaving the family, Nadia gifted Natalie and the kids two JD Sports vouchers worth £100 each.
She also gave Natalie £100, explaining the weekend was "like an out-of-body experience".
While some viewers were quick to praise both Nadia and Natalie, others called the rich kid "clueless".
One wrote: "The kids are really well brought up. A credit to their mother. Nadia is funny and down to earth."
You can watch Rich Kids on Mondays at 9pm on 5STAR or catch up now on My5.
