Shoppers say Bodycare’s £2.99 perfume smells just like YSL’s £70 Black Opium

IF YOU'RE a fan of Yves Saint Laurent's Black Opium perfume, we have some good news.

Bodycare is selling a £2.99 dupe and shoppers say it smells just like the £70 designer scent.

Taking to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains group on Facebook, one happy shopper explained she'd found the almost identical perfume in Bodycare.

"These smell exactly the same!" She wrote.

"Black Opium 50ml is approximately £70 in Boots.

"Black Addiction 80ml is £2.99 in Bodycare."

The two perfumes look similar in style with an almost identical shaped bottle and lid.

And hundreds of shoppers took to the comments to praise the product, with one writing: "It literally smells so like it."

While another commented: "It's great, love it and perfect for work."

Another agreed, revealing: "I got this last week, smells exactly the same as the branded one."

Others weren't convinced, however, with some claiming the perfume doesn't last anywhere near as long as the designer brand.

One wrote: "The smell lasts two and a half minutes... if you're lucky. Get what you pay for."

While another wrote: "But the smell of opium lasts until you wash.

"Like my scarf still smells of it from last week... you can't copy quality."

The bargain perfume is not available online but can be found in Bodycare stores.

Earlier this month, we also told you Poundland is selling a £1 dupe of a £24.50 designer candle that smells just like all your favourite tipples.

The "Scent Glass Candle" is very similar to one produced by Vineyard Candles and is available in a range of booze-inspired options - including Pina Cola, Prosecco, Gin and Tonic, Margarita and Cosmopolitan.

In other beauty news, we told you about the bride-to-be who was rinsed for ‘disease-ridden, bacteria-filled’ false nails as she shows off engagement ring.

We also revealed shoppers claim this £3 B&M foundation is a dupe for £34 cult favourite Estee Lauder Double Wear.
